Dis-orientation guides have been published on and off at UC Berkeley, by different groups and individuals, for many decades.
The zines are published anonymously, often editing and recycling content from earlier issues. “A People's History of UC Berkeley” is the current revision of a text that has been handed down, expanded, and revised over 30+ years!
These are living documents. Take what you need, leave what you don't. Write your own map. Pass it along when you're done.
Thanks to Slingshot Collective for supporting this project.
This incarnation of the dis-orientation guide was published from 2021-2023.
Dis-orientation is not a corporate brand, it’s a free idea which has been utilized in many ways, and re-incarnated by many cohorts of university-affiliated abolitionists.
